Is there any live jazz playing nearby tonight? this weekend?”
We wrote MuziGuide™ to be your interactive guide to live music playing in the locations we cover. It provides you with the up-to-date information on the who, what, when and where of the events, bands and venues that are playing live music.

The app has many features to let you quickly find the music you’re looking for. You can easily scroll through tiles with bands or events and venues, sorted by the performance dates and their distance from your current location. The tiles may be easily filtered so that you can be as specific or general as you want, to quickly locate all the performances that interest you. The app continually updates itself as you change locations and as new performances are added. You can also use it to buy tickets to performances that have online ticketing. It even shows you when an upcoming performance has been cancelled.

Every detail of its user interface has been carefully planned. The app’s color-coded tiles let you scan quickly thought all the performances that interest you. As you scroll though the event or band tiles (showing dates and a short description), those on the same day are the same color. Venue tiles show distances from your current location (closest venues first) along with icons that tell you if you can walk or must drive there.

Every app has to start someplace and we’re starting with the Dallas/Fort Worth area, but we can and will add new areas, so if you’re not interested in the DFW area music scene check back with us. The app shows information on local and touring bands, but we designed this app primarily to give local musicians a way to spread the word about their bands. We want to let you sample their awesome talents so that you find new music you’ll love and can get out and listen to the live music.
